Action Points

  

Question 1 - Action Points:-

  • Academic year to roll forward early.
  • The consensus was that this should take place at May half term.
  • Protection of Y11 revision time where necessary to be built in i.e. for late exams (technology)

 

Question 3 - LIA BEF

 

Feedback on presentation:-

  • Faculty Finger design well liked and seen as advantageous
  • Reduction of movement a must in new school
  • Ability to split lunches a must in new school - very important
  • Curriculum Champion staff aggreed that a visit to a BSF school would be a good use of a SLD afternoon - PEW to arrange
  • No bells - music please

 

The presentation given by LIA and REF allowed our group to find out where we are up to in terms of BSF.

  • PEW/REF to look at how time may be blocked and options for day lengths upon results of consultation
  • PEW/REF to look at structure of day and registration time
  • PEW/REF to look at timetabling assembly

  • Movement bell to be removed as a trial

 

 Question 4 - Consultation points for all staff:-

  • Which Faculty areas/subjects would want to block time together?
  • What are optimum session lengths for these subjects?

  

Question 5 - Action Points:-

  • Audit staff to find out who would like to teach it
  • PEW/REF to test timetable to check capacity available
